Here, There, and Everywhere ...

" I thank my God every time I remember you " (Phil. 1:3)

Here are bits and pieces of the tour scrapbook --

It may be a snowy and cold January, but after a joyous assembly of praise and celebration, some students from Zion Lutheran School mug for DPB and send a "Hello!" out to the MMME web world.  God bless you -- you are awesome!

January - Westland, MI -

How about the SECOND verse of

"I Am a C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N"?

As both veteran educator and Christian performer, David is gaining wider recognition among business and education organizations as a Staff Development and Seminar presenter.  Here DPB presents a musical in-service session for the Renaissance Public Charter Academy educators in Mt. Pleasant, MI, entitled "Positive Teachers Make For Positive Kids".

(Chicago) L: Try Spanish for "God's armor!" (St. Louis) R: Clap 'n sing 2- part harmony!

(St. Louis, MO)  During a Family Concert or worship service, praise and  celebrate the Lord Jesus Christ, together with David Paul, in a joyful and energetic musical setting ...

... or lift up voices in an LWML retreat setting. (Mackinaw City, MI)

L: After the praise and celebration, some of the Collinsville, IL., gang wave "Hello!"; R: (Missouri) Can you hear the trumpet NOW?  This is definitely NOT digital simulation!

August, 2003 - Saginaw, MI - David Paul appears in concert as the opener with Dove Award nominee Jonathan Pierce for the dedication of Peace Lutheran (Saginaw, MI) congregation's new school and ministry facility.

One 2003 summer stop was at First Lutheran Church in Charlotte, Michigan.  The evening concert was to be outdoors, but at set-up time, it was raining, thundering, yet the sun was shining, and there was a rainbow.  Cool!

Only in Michigan ?!??

If you never have visited Camp Arcadia on the shores of Lake Michigan, you need to! DPB pauses before a summer concert performance there.

Great for families, kids, and folks of all ages, visit the camp website at www.camp-arcadia.com.

This is the "Victory Arch" for our Marine son, Chris, (Kuwait) and all the others who currently serve or have served in the military around the world to bring peace and stability.  He returned home safely November 2003.  We give thanks and continue to lift up others still deployed, and loved ones separated.  Let's all remember daily that everything is in God's mighty hands!

While teaching at Valley Lutheran HS in Saginaw, MI,, during Easter break 1996, 24 students and 8 faculty were blessed to go on a mission trip to Hong Kong and China.  My musician/mission counterpart, K. K. Fung, taught me many things about music, culture, outreach, and Christian ministry in that part of the world.  This was goodbye!

In 1999, after 22 years of Lutheran high school music teaching and national music ministry, the Lord opened wide the doors for full-time MMME.  God is faithful; years later, the ministry still grows!

Your prayers are still being answered: by God's grace and leading, this ministry is ... effective, timely, accessible to those it will benefit, and impacting a new generation of music ministers and spiritual leaders!
